To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, What guidance has been given to the Planning Inspectorate on the use of (a) gender-neutral language and (b) pronouns.

Matthew PennycookThe Planning Inspectorate operates in line with relevant legislation such as the Equality Act 2010. My Department has not provided further specific advice to the Planning Inspectorate regarding gender neutral language or pronouns.
