To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether she has assessed compliance costs associated with local authority planning approvals.

Matthew PennycookEnsuring compliance with planning approvals is a matter for local planning authorities. As such, the Department has not made an assessment of the costs involved.
