To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, if she will make an estimate of the number of people in prison for offences related to the use of social media broken down by offence.

Sir Nicholas DakinInformation as to whether social media was used (at any point) in the commission of an offence is not centrally recorded – therefore the information requested could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
