To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, if he will make an assessment of the potential impact of the level of regulation of rented homes on landlords.

Matthew PennycookThe government has already published impact assessments in respect of the Renters’ Rights Act; higher Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards for the private rented sector; and the extension of our updated Decent Homes Standard to it.
