To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what estimate her Department has made of the number of passengers delayed as a result of rail trespass incidents in each of the last five years.

Keir MatherThere were 65,540 trespass incidents recorded by the British Transport Police in the last five years (2021/22 to 2025/26); we do not have an assessment of the number of passengers delayed by these incidents.
