To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what estimate her Department has made of the number of passengers delayed as a result of rail trespass incidents in each of the last five years.

Answer

Keir Mather
There were 65,540 trespass incidents recorded by the British Transport Police in the last five years (2021/22 to 2025/26); we do not have an assessment of the number of passengers delayed by these incidents.
