To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what assessment he has made of the potential impact of housing costs on the ability of people over 65 to retire.

Torsten BellThe Department has made no such assessment. The Pensions Commission will consider the outcomes and risks for future cohorts of pensioners, taking into consideration the role housing plays amongst other factors.
