To ask the Secretary of State for Education, if she will consider mandating that all new school buildings incorporate solar panels as standard.

Stephen MorganIn November 2021, the department launched a new set of construction standards addressing sustainability, energy and climate change. These revised standards mandate that all new department funded school buildings include roof mounted photovoltaic panels.
