To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what her policy is on (a) irregular migrants and (b) asylum seekers applying for social housing.

Matthew PennycookIf a person's immigration status does not allow them recourse to public funds then they are not eligible for an allocation of social housing. This includes irregular migrants and asylum seekers.
