To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what assessment she has made of the potential impact of tackling welfare benefit fraud on public sector finances.

Andrew WesternThe Government has committed to the biggest ever package of welfare fraud error and debt measures at Autumn Budget 2024 and Spring Statement 2025. These will deliver an additional £9.6bn OBR-scored savings over the next five years.
