To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what discussions he has had with local authorities on ensuring that local trading standards services are adequately resourced.

Alison McGovernLocal Authorities are responsible for determining resourcing priorities in accordance with the needs of their local communities, and the members of those communities will differ according to the areas where they live.
