To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether she plans to introduce mechanisms for regular updates to the Overseas Scale Rates to keep in line with inflation.

James MurrayAs with all taxes and allowances, the Government keeps flat rates expenses, including Overseas Scale Rates, under review. Any decisions on future changes in this area will be taken in the context of the wider public finances.
