To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, how many fines have been issued for violating tree preservation orders in each year since 2010.

Matthew PennycookFines for violating tree preservation orders are issued locally through Magistrates Courts and the government does not hold information on fines issued. Anyone found guilty of violating a Tree Preservation Order is liable to a fine of up to £20,000.
