To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, for what reasons Type 23 Frigate HMS Sutherland has not returned to sea.

Maria EagleHMS SUTHERLAND is reaching the end of her life extension refit. Once this is complete, she will undertake a period of force generation and assurance ahead of assuming readiness for routine and contingent tasking.
