To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if she will make an estimate of the cost to the public purse of irregular migration in the next five years.

Dame Angela EagleThe costs of the asylum system are kept under constant review and are published on an annual basis.Decisions made by this government since being in office are estimated to save £7 Billion in Net Present Value (NPV) over the next 10 years.
