Employment Rights BillContribution
Amendments 182 and 183 seek to restrict who should be on the bodies. What I would say to my noble friend—the noble Lord, Lord Hunt, will also be interested in this, I am sure, as will other noble Lords—that there is a need to consider membership possibilities as engagement on the design of the bodies continues. As I said earlier in respect of the point raised by the noble Baroness, Lady Coffey, we want to get all the right voices because, putting it simply, we have to get this right. To me, this is a once in a generation opportunity to provide something novel and groundbreaking. We want to get that right. It is not the same as what has gone before, although we are drawing on the experience of what has gone before.
