Employment Rights Bill

Amendment 187 seeks to change the definition of “social care worker”. The Bill is intentionally broad and includes anyone working wholly or mainly in, or in connection with the provision of, social care, bringing them within scope of a fair pay agreement. I feel that is the right way forward to value workers and reward them properly.
