Amendment 322 in the name of my noble friend Lord Barber calls on the Government to set out a timetable and process for assessing whether fair pay agreements could deliver benefits in sectors beyond social care. I welcome the interest in this important matter and pay tribute to the roles played by my noble friends Lord Barber and Lady O’Grady in championing workers’ rights throughout their careers and in your Lordships’ House.
