The Government need to create a framework that is fair and transparent, where innovation can co-exist with AI—and not some time in the future but right now. We need assurances. We must not sell ourselves short. I urge the Government to accept the amendment of the noble Baroness, Lady Kidron, to introduce transparency, with regulations in place to give creators peace of mind for their future innovation, creation and livelihood, and especially for the sake of our children’s and young people’s future.
