This is the first serious test of the Windsor Framework. It is the first major disagreement between the UK and the EU over a significant new policy being implemented in our Province since we left the European Union. Disagreement has led to only more disagreement and uncertainty has led only to more uncertainty. It really is a mess. I say to the House that these amendments are designed not to pretend that everything is okay. We should be treating this debacle as a warning and reassessing the underlying flaws of the Windsor Framework, how it is at its core antidemocratic and how it will over time—we are already seeing this—pull our United Kingdom apart one rule at a time.
