Sustainable Aviation Fuel BillContribution
Amendment 15 from the noble Lord, Lord Moylan, would exclude HEFA fuels from the scheme entirely, yet HEFA remains the most immediate commercially viable pathway for scale SAF production in the next decade. Removing it entirely from eligibility would, in effect, drain the early project pipeline for seed funding just as the revenue certainty mechanism begins operation, weakening investor confidence and jeopardising early domestic delivery. We strongly believe that the Bill must remain pathway-neutral, allowing market competition and policy signals to shape uptake over time as investment grows, companies and industries establish themselves and markets develop.
