Standing Orders (Public Business)

That the Standing Orders relating to Public Business be amended as follows: Standing Order 21 (Leave of absence) Delete paragraph (4). Standing Order 24A (Arrangements for virtual participation by disabled members) Paragraph (1), delete “virtually” and insert “remotely”. Paragraph (2), delete “virtually” and insert “remotely”. Standing Order 56 (Quorum for division on bills and subordinate legislation) Delete “for the approving or disapproving of” and insert “relating to”. Delete “less” and insert “fewer”. Delete Standing Order 83 (Minor peers, etc., have no privilege).
