More broadly, we are delivering more support to working families than ever before, including the rollout of 30 hours of government-funded childcare, more places in school-based nurseries and the launch of the Best Start in Life website to bring all trusted early years advice into one place. In 2026-27, we expect to provide over £9.5 billion for early years entitlements—more than doubling the Government’s commitment to funded childcare since 2023-24.
