English Devolution and Community Empowerment BillContribution
The mayoral future is a bright one, and the system of devolution has a bright one too. But I would argue that we have to ensure that mayors have the tools necessary to do the job. Having special advisers, rather than just a sole political adviser, may well strengthen their ability to work across the broad range of competencies the Bill sets out. I beg to move.
